Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking warehouse helper to support daily warehouse and shop operations. This position is responsible for loading and unloading freight, maintaining an organized and safe work environment, assisting with inventory movement, and helping ensure materials are staged and ready for shipping. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to perform a variety of physical labor tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and secure freight on 53' Conestoga trailers.
- Unload shipping containers and incoming freight safely and efficiently.
- Move materials, products, and equipment throughout the warehouse and shop.
- Organize inventory, materials, and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility.
- Remove scrap, trash, and debris from work areas.
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments.
- Prepare orders and materials for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Assist production and shop personnel as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform general labor and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse shop experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50-100 pounds on a regular basis.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule but depenable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Forklift experience is a MUST.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and standing.
- Able to lift 50-100lbs regularly.
- Ability to work in the heat.
- Ability to climb on trailers and navigate warehouse environments safely
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
