As a SLP-CCC, you’ll work Monday through Friday, 10am – 6pm, collaborating with teachers and families to support students’ needs across the full K-12 spectrum. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, empowering students to achieve their academic and social goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working as an SLP in educational settings (K-12 preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student populations
- Organizational skills and comfort with managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams as needed
