About the Role
Empower Behavioral Health is seeking a part‑time School Psychologist to support Alamo‑area schools through a virtual/hybrid service model for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is primarily virtual, with one onsite day per month for evaluations, observations, or team meetings. The remaining hours are flexible and can be completed remotely.
This is a contract role ideal for a School Psychologist seeking a stable, low‑hour caseload with predictable scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations (virtual and onsite as appropriate)
- Complete record reviews, rating scales, interviews, and progress monitoring
- Participate in IEP meetings virtually
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and support teams
- Support MTSS and behavioral intervention planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across assigned campuses
- Attend one onsite day per month for required in‑person components

Requirements
- Active or eligible New Mexico School Psychologist license
- Ability to work 12–14 hours/week
- Ability to attend one onsite day per month
- Experience with virtual assessments preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
