Position Overview
We are seeking a Radiation Therapist that will provide high quality and accurate delivery to patients through the use of our cutting-edge Radixact, and XOFT. Treatment techniques may include 3D conformal, IMRT, SBRT, and electronic brachytherapy treatments. The ideal candidate in this position will be responsible for providing a high standard of patient care through collaboration with the oncologists, support staff, and on-site dosimetry and physics.
Job Responsibilities
- Operation of Radixact and XOFT delivering the planned course of radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
- Perform CT Simulations and construction of patient immobilization devices.
- Assess patient needs during and after treatments.
- Participating in patient education of radiation treatments
- Assure compliance with all department and state rules and regulations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records
- Maintain open and timely communication regarding the patient’s care, collaborating with dosimetry, physics, nursing, and physicians.
QUALIFICATIONS
- ARRT Certified or Board Eligible
- Applied Associated of Science (AAS) or Bachelor’s of Science in Radiation Therapy or related field
- Well organized, self-motivated, display problem solving skills
