Whether opening up and closing, managing retail sales transactions or coordinating food delivery with Head Chef from the kitchen to table, you'll be vital in keeping our operations running seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process retail sales transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and manage POS operations with precision and integrity.
- Assist Chef in preparing and serve food items efficiently, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards.
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables or designated areas, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a clean dining environment in compliance with sanitation guidelines. Opening and Closing, bring all tables and chairs inside.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales by suggesting popular or complementary items.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing quick service & fast food restaurant tasks with excellent time management skills.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or café environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in cashiering, retail sales transactions, or grocery store environments is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
