American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology department in Kansas City, MO, requiring 4+ years of experience and ARRT certification.

Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department located within a dedicated cancer center
-
490-bed facility staffed with 4 Radiation Therapists and 2 Radiation Oncology RNs
-
Procedures include VMAT, 3D treatments, SRS, SBRT, and emergency treatments such as SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression
-
Equipment includes TrueBeam and iX linear accelerators
-
Must be familiar with OBI imaging including KV, MV, and CBCT
-
Documentation systems include Mosaiq and Meditech
-
Monday–Friday day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
-
No floating requirement

12-week assignment in Kansas City, MO

ARRT board certification required
-
Active Missouri Radiation Therapist license required, if applicable

BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Minimum of 4 years of radiation therapy experience required

Must have active clinical experience within the past 6 months in radiation therapy

Familiarity with OBI imaging techniques (KV, MV, CBCT) required

TrueBeam experience preferred

OSMS experience preferred
-
US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two professional references required

Deliver a range of radiation therapy treatments including advanced modalities and emergency oncology cases

Facility holds Joint Commission and American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accreditations

Grey or charcoal grey scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
