Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Forensic Engineer specializing in Civil and Structural Engineering with a Professional Engineer (PE) license. In this dynamic role, you will investigate structural failures, analyze damage, and determine the root causes of civil and structural issues related to construction defects, wind, hail, fire, geotechnical concerns, or system design.
Duties
- Conduct thorough investigations of structural failures, damage assessments, and forensic analyses of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports documenting findings, methodologies, and conclusions with clarity for legal or client review.
- Travel to different sites and write a technical report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; PE license is required.
- +3 years proven experience in forensic engineering.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, Civil 3D; experience with GIS systems is a plus.
- Skilled in project scheduling and project management methodologies to ensure the timely delivery of investigations.
Pay: From $78,400.61 per year
