We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Automotive Customer Experience Specialist to help create a welcoming, professional, and positive service experience for every guest who visits our dealership.
Position Summary
The Automotive Customer Experience Specialist serves as a key member of our Service Department team, ensuring customers feel valued, informed, and appreciated throughout their service visit. This role is focused on hospitality, communication, and customer satisfaction by greeting customers, maintaining contact during the service process, assisting Service Advisors, and helping deliver a seamless service experience from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
- Serve as a customer advocate throughout the service visit.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicle service.
- Assist Service Advisors with customer follow-up and service-related communications.
- Monitor customer waiting areas to ensure guests are comfortable and their needs are addressed.
- Help coordinate transportation, shuttle services, or loaner vehicle arrangements when applicable.
- Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Conduct post-service follow-up calls, emails, or text messages to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing customer appointment confirmations and service reminders.
- Support dealership initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and retention.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment.
- Promote Subaru's commitment to exceptional customer care and ownership experience.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or automotive experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and customer management systems.
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
