Newman Catholic Schools is seeking a dynamic, student-centered professional to be a long term substitute for our High School Math Teacher. This position is a temporary position while our regular teacher is out on leave. Newman Catholic School is located in Wausau, Wisconsin in beautiful Marathon County. A High School Math Teacher develops and delivers engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for grades 9-12, focusing on foundational math concepts. Key responsibilities include creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, managing classroom behavior, and communicating with parents. They foster critical thinking, and a positive, inclusive environment.

Teaching Responsibilities:
*Prepare daily lesson plans in all required subjects.
*Prepare instructional activities allowing for individual differences among the students assigned.
*Encourage integrated instruction whenever possible.
*Provide a secure and comfortable learning environment.
*Take responsibility for the care of instructional materials and equipment.
Supervising Responsibilities:
*Responsible to supervise students in accordance with the building regulations established.
*Share in responsibility for safety and health of each child.
Professional:
*Responsible to carry his/her share of professional duties as assigned by the administrator.
*Possess a bachelor's degree or teaching license.
Responsible to comply with all areas addressed in the contract and policies of the Diocese of La Crosse.
