Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated all around Frame/Finish Carpenter with decking and interior experience to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, including metal and wood framing, form work, drywall, finish trim and painting, ensuring precision and safety on every project. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential renovations by interpreting blueprints, managing materials, and working efficiently with hand and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a small team dedicated to building quality structures that stand the test of time.
Responsibilities
- Erect building frameworks, including steel studs and framing components, following detailed construction plans and schematics
- Install and finish drywall
- Install doors and trim
- Paint
- Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations, ensuring accurate measurements and placement for stability
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide construction activities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble construction materials
- Perform masonry tasks such as a small amount of concrete slab finishing, and siding installation to enhance structural integrity and aesthetics
- Conduct dimensional measurements to ensure precise alignment of framing elements according to specifications
- Collaborate with construction management to coordinate project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing and finish carpentry, metal stud erection, drywall and paint, and related fields
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawings, and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, drywall and trim work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Excellent communication skills to interpret construction plans accurately and collaborate effectively with team members
- Construction management experience or certifications are a plus but not mandatory
