Position: Duty Aide
Location: Woodside Intermediate School
Description: Provide the necessary supervision on the playground during the recess period to ensure the safety and well being of the children.
Hours: 4 hours per day, 10 am - 2 pm
Compensation: $18 per hour
Qualifications: The ability to understand and to relate in a positive manner to children of elementary age; be able to enjoy being with children in large group situations and maintain flexible work hours.
Responsibilities:
1. Follow established school procedures and policies.
2. Review and follow both oral and written directives.
3. Enforce student behavioral standards with firmness and kindness.
4. Follow established guidelines and procedures for reporting all safety related incidents, injuries and serious disciplinary incidents.
5. Work cooperatively with staff and building administration and any other duties as assigned by the administrator.
