Construction and Development Manager - Full Time
FTK Hospitality Baltimore | East Coast & Select Midwest Markets (Travel Required)
Join a well-established, multi-market hospitality and entertainment organization as a Construction and Development Manager. In this role, you will lead new build and renovation projects across a dynamic portfolio of restaurant, retail, and hospitality venues. We are looking for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple projects while ensuring they meet brand standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Manage new build, renovation, and buildout projects from concept through completion.

Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and design consultants to ensure project alignment.

Track budgets, conduct cost analysis, and implement value engineering (VE) processes.

Review and approve RFIs, ASIs, field directives, and change orders.

Oversee general contractor schedules and monitor on-site construction progress.

Participate in punchlist and project turnover processes.

Prepare project status updates and presentations for leadership teams.

Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and quality specifications.
Requirements

5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in retail and/or hospitality new build projects (restaurants, retail, hotels, or entertainment venues).

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction scheduling software.

Strong understanding of construction codes, contracts, and quality standards.

Excellent communication and vendor/stakeholder management skills.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing competing project deadlines.

Willingness to travel regularly to East Coast markets with some Midwest travel required.
