Third Grade Teacher – Tutor Zone
Tutor Zone is looking for a confident, energetic, and caring Third Grade Teacher to join our growing school family! We are a small, family-oriented school entering our 3rd year open, and we are looking for someone who loves working with students and is passionate about helping children continue building strong academic foundations, especially in reading, writing, and math.
Position Start Date: August 3rd
What We’re Looking For:
- Confident teaching third grade students and supporting a range of learning needs
- Strong ability to strengthen reading skills through fluency, reading practice, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing support
- Comfortable teaching third grade math skills and helping students build confidence with new concepts and problem-solving
- Able to support students as they become more independent learners and take greater responsibility for their work
- Patient, nurturing, kind, and encouraging with students
- Energetic, positive, and able to keep students engaged throughout the day
- Strong classroom management skills with a structured but caring approach
- A true team player who enjoys being part of a supportive, family-style school environment
- Dependable, organized, flexible, and professional
Position Details:
- All lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, and curriculum materials are provided
- No lesson planning required
- No grading required
- Your main responsibility is teaching the provided lessons, supporting students academically and emotionally, and creating a positive classroom environment
- Teacher planning will begin the week of August 3rd, with students starting shortly after

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
