Northern Vermont Dental Care is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our growing dental team!

Responsibilities
- Seat and prepare patients for hygiene appointments
- Review and document changes to patients' medical histories
- Take dental X-rays and maintain appropriate radiographic documentation
- Assist the hygienist with patient care and room turnover
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for appointments
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Follow OSHA, infection control, and office safety protocols
- Maintain organized and well-stocked hygiene operatories
- Communicate effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, doctors, and front office staff
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for every patient
- Assist with other clinical and office duties as needed
Skills
- Current X-ray certification required'
- Previous dental experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Strong communications skills

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
