Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Perform IV therapy, wound care, and emergency procedures within scope of practice.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Follow all hospital policies and infection control guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active RN license (State License required).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA preferred).
- TNCC certification preferred (if required by the facility).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department.
- Must meet facility requirements, including background check, drug screening, and health clearance.
Pay: $72.00 - $74.00 per hour
Experience:
- RN Emergency room: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required)
- TNCC Certification (Preferred)
