Kitchen Administrator (Part-Time)

At Dardenne Presbyterian Church, we believe ministry happens in both the sanctuary and around the table. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and welcoming Kitchen Administrator to help support the hospitality and fellowship life of our church through administrative and operational support for our Kitchen Ministry.
This position works closely with staff, volunteers, and ministry leaders to help coordinate kitchen use, support Wednesday night dinners, and ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout the year.
Position Details
* Part-time, non-exempt
* Average of approximately:
* 6 hours/week (September–May)
* 3–4 hours/week (June–August)
* Reports to Director of Congregational Care
What You’ll Do
* Coordinate kitchen scheduling and maintain kitchen-related forms
* Help oversee facility requests related to kitchen use
* Support and coordinate Wednesday night dinner logistics
* Track and verify collected funds and complete deposit forms
* Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
* Maintain kitchen inventory and supplies
* Attend weekly staff meetings and communicate kitchen needs
* Help support and encourage Kitchen Ministry volunteers
* Serve as backup support for the Kitchen Operations Manager when needed
* Maintain required food safety certifications
* Other duties as assigned
