Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting surfaces and ensuring all fixtures are spotless.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while utilizing proper manual handling techniques.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with sanitation standards and health regulations to promote a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, pressure washing, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely using personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines diligently.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
- Excellent customer service skills to address guest needs courteously and professionally.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, pressure washers, and laundry machines preferred.
