- Ask thoughtful questions to understand each prospective client’s family, concerns, priorities, and planning goals
- Explain LegacyGuard’s services, packages, pricing, and process in clear, approachable language
- Educate prospective clients on general estate-planning concepts without providing legal, tax, investment, or financial advice
- Recommend the appropriate LegacyGuard service based on the client’s expressed needs and company guidelines
- Address questions and concerns with patience, accuracy, and professionalism
- Guide qualified clients through the enrollment and payment process
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients who are not yet ready to move forward
- Develop opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, relationship building, and approved marketing efforts
- Maintain complete and accurate notes, follow-up tasks, and pipeline information in the company CRM
- Coordinate clear handoffs to the appropriate client-service team members
- Participate in required training, call reviews, coaching, and team meetings
- Recognize situations that require additional review and promptly escalate legal, tax, financial, special-needs, incapacity, or complex family questions
What Success Looks Like
- Prospective clients feel heard, respected, and properly informed
- Estate-planning concepts are explained accurately without unnecessary jargon
- Follow-up is timely, organized, and consistent
- CRM records and client handoffs are complete and usable
- Company procedures and professional boundaries are followed

- Ability to make complex information understandable
- Demonstrated reliability, organization, and follow-through
- Confidence discussing death, incapacity, family relationships, property, and finances with tact
- Comfort with consultative sales, proactive outreach, follow-up, and asking prospective clients to make a decision
- Strong listening skills and the judgment to recognize when a question falls outside the position’s authority
- Ability to learn and use CRM, calendar, communication, and payment systems
- Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, ethical conduct, and continued coaching
- Availability for scheduled client consultations, training, and team meetings
Preferred Experience
- Consultative sales or another relationship-based sales environment
- Financial services, insurance, legal services, real estate, healthcare, family services, or a related client-facing field
- Pipeline management and structured discovery conversations
- CRM systems and scheduled client consultations
- Estate-planning concepts or the ability to complete intensive training
