Job Summary
The Validation Technician is responsible for supporting the execution, testing, and continuous verification of operational protocols across production, laboratory, and automated systems. Working collaboratively with engineering and quality assurance teams, this role involves executing standard verification routines, collecting and analyzing technical performance data, identifying system deviations, and documenting equipment compliance to ensure reliable and repeatable operations.
Responsibilities

Carry out installation, operational, and performance qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) across specialized facilities, utilities, and processing equipment.

Perform routine and complex validation testing, thermal/environmental mapping, and equipment performance checks; accurately capture operational test metrics.

Draft, update, and organize validation test logs, completion reports, and maintenance records in full compliance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Identify operational out-of-spec events, system anomalies, or testing failures; assist cross-functional teams with preliminary root-cause analysis and corrective measures.

Coordinate testing schedules with operational and maintenance personnel to maximize facility uptime and maintain project timelines.

Maintain, clean, and verify the readiness of specialized test instruments, sensors, and data logging tools used in validation activities.

Adhere strictly to internal environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and quality control standards at all times.
Requirements

Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical, mechanical, or scientific field.

1 to 3 years of experience performing hands-on technical testing, validation support, quality control, or equipment maintenance in a structured operational setting.

Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical manuals, schematic diagrams, and operational procedures.

Sound working knowledge of standard computer software, electronic testing applications, and basic data entry tools.

High level of accuracy in recording technical observations, test parameters, and operational documentation.

Physical ability to perform on-site facility movement, bend, stand for extended periods, and handle equipment setups weighing up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or technical disciplines.

Prior exposure to formal qualification protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) or quality management standards (such as ISO or similar operational frameworks).

Familiarity with electronic data loggers, automated test equipment, or thermal mapping tools.

Basic knowledge of Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies.
