Duties
- Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer hauling dry van freight.
- Transport freight throughout the Southeast region while maintaining compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation.
- Deliver freight safely and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
- Follow all company safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing the company.
- Report equipment and maintenance concerns promptly.
- Operate efficiently while maximizing mileage and earning opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
- Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered
- Must live within 60 miles of Greenville, SC
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years
- No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years
- SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated
- Ability to pass DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements
