The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record in sales. As a Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for product knowledge, providing exceptional customer service, guiding clients through the purchasing process, achieving sales targets and maintaining customer follow up.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in selecting vehicles.
- Demonstrate vehicles and explain features and benefits.
- Knowledge of inventory by keeping track of available vehicles.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales transactions, and follow-ups.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries from potential buyers.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitor offerings.
- Assist in maintaining the showroom appearance and ensuring vehicles are clean and presentable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A strong desire to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of sales management principles is beneficial but not required.
