Role Description
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of client businesses. This full-time in person position is located in Nashua, NH.
Day-to-day responsibilities include recording and reconciling transactions, posting journal entries, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring bank and credit card reconciliations are completed on schedule. The Bookkeeper will prepare and review financial statements, assist with bookkeeping cleanups and catch-ups, and help provide clear reporting that supports client decision-making. The role also involves collaborating with the internal team and clients to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and support CFO advisory engagements with reliable data.
Qualifications
- Strong bookkeeping skills, including transaction recording, reconciliations, and journal entries (Accounting)
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements and other key reports (Finance)
- Proficiency with Accounting Software and related tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills in handling multiple client accounts
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
- Experience in small business or client-based bookkeeping environments preferred
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (experience is key more than the actual degree)
- Understanding of cash flow management and basic financial analysis is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
