Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a dynamic Hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, and plumbing, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including HVAC systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose electrical issues and conduct necessary repairs.
- Fabricate components as needed to support maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems, including high voltage equipment, to identify potential issues before they become critical.
- Collaborate with other engineering and maintenance staff to develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Complete room work orders on a daily bases, and report to front desks as needed.
- Communicate daily with staff of what is being completed and how long the work will take.
- Conduct 2 RPM daily to prevent falling scores for Brand standard.
- Maintaining a brand standard score for Maintenance Department
- Well organized and keeping track of all supplies.
Requirements
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility with a focus on industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters. Certificate required
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements mandatory. Certificate required
- Ability to fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs or improvements.
- Previous experience as an industrial electrician is preferred mandatory.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with plumbing and being able to solve plumbing problems. Certificate Required.
