Kness Mfg. Co., Inc., a family-owned manufacturing company, in Albia, Iowa is seeking a Plant Manager at its Albia, Iowa location.
Responsibilities:
- managing and directing all factory operations including quality, accuracy, performance standards and safety with appropriate subordinates
- purchasing of factory and product materials to meet production demand
- inventory tracking and control
- product costing including annual budgeting for product cost
- employee hiring, relations and scheduling
- OSHA compliance, training and reporting
Experience:
- 7-10 years in a manufacturing environment
- experience in plastic and metal manufacturing a plus
- effective communication, motivation and leadership skills
- analytical math and critical thinking ability
- PC literate including spreadsheet creation and utilization
- knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus
- CAD experience a plus
