About the role
Our home runs best when there's someone steady at the heart of it, and that's the person we're hoping to find! We're looking for a kind, dependable, and naturally organized House Manager to help keep our household calm, tidy, and functional. The role also includes safely driving our kids to and from school and stepping in to babysit now and then.
This is a great fit for someone who genuinely loves being around children and brings a calm, grounded energy to a busy household. Since it's a partial nanny role, you should be comfortable and experienced with kids — patient, warm, and able to ease them from their school day into a relaxed afternoon at home.
Please note that applicants without a cover letter will not be considered
What you'd be doing
Around the house
- This role includes hands-on household tasks during non-childcare hours, including household dishes, laundry, making beds, tidying common areas, restocking supplies, organizing play areas, errands, and household organization. This is not a deep-cleaning role, but it does require proactive daily upkeep of the home.

- Package returns and post office runs
- Keeping our household systems in order: schedules, supplies, errands, and light coordination
- Meal prep and/or helping pull family meals together
With the kids
- Safe school pickups, drop-offs, and rides to activities
- Being a friendly, reassuring presence during the after-school stretch — snack, homework, settling in
- Keeping us in the loop on timing, logistics, and any changes
- Occasional babysitting
- Comfortable with the occasional overnight, and open to traveling with us now and then
What we're hoping you bring
- 3-5+ years as a nanny and/or house manager experience
- A professional, reliable approach
- A valid driver's license and a strong, safe driving record
- Comfort driving the kids and following our family's safety expectations
- A real warmth with children — patient, nurturing, and good company
- Strong organization and initiative; you can juggle several things without needing to be told twice
- Trustworthiness and discretion
