We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting team. This position is responsible for supporting Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, account reconciliations, month-end activities, and other general accounting functions. The Accounting Specialist reports directly to the Controller and plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and efficient accounting operations.

Assist Accounts Receivable with posting cash receipts.

Assist Accounts Payable with posting invoices and freight claims.

Reconcile credit card transactions and statements.

Reconcile general ledger accounts.

Support collections of customer payments and deposits.

Communicate with Pricing, Brand, and Marketing teams regarding customer pricing and promotional discrepancies.

Assist with accounting projects and other duties as assigned.

Communicate opportunities, concerns, and process improvements to accounting management.

Collaborate effectively with Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to support business objectives.

Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, processes, and correspondence.
