Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and laundry areas, ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered to the highest standards. Your attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Launder and clean linens, towels, and other guest items using appropriate washing techniques.
- Perform dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms by dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
- Organize and manage laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow hotel protocols for cleanliness and safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and linen stock.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
