About the Role
nGenius Prep is hiring part-time ACT tutors to join our small, high-performing team in Madison, Alabama. We provide one-on-one ACT test prep using a proven, PhD-designed methodology that consistently produces 3–5 point score improvements.
This isn't a typical tutoring gig. You'll get a real hourly rate (starting at $25/hr with raises every 90 days), paid prep time at your full rate, thorough training on our system, and a flexible evening/weekend schedule. We serve students locally and nationwide via Zoom.
What You'll Do
- Lead one-on-one, 85-minute ACT prep sessions (in-person or Zoom)
- Prepare customized lesson plans and practice materials (paid)
- Track student progress and send session notes to families
- Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 7–10 tutors

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (any field)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience
- 12+ hours/week availability (evenings and/or weekends)
- Strong communication skills — you'll work directly with students and parents
- Reliable and self-motivated
Nice to Have
- ACT or standardized test prep experience
- Graduate degree (in progress or completed)
- Background in Math, Science, or English
- High personal ACT/SAT score
