Assignments will be tailored, with caseloads thoughtfully maintained between 25-45 students, ensuring you have the time and space to connect meaningfully with each child. You’ll participate in professional development days—with your contribution recognized as billable time—enhancing your own skills while strengthening supports for your students. The district is invested in both experienced professionals and new graduates, welcoming applicants ready for their Clinical Fellowship, provided supervision can be arranged.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds an active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Possesses a valid Colorado SLP license
- Completion of all district-required background check and fingerprints prior to start
- Experience in school settings preferred, but clinical fellows encouraged to apply
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload of 25-45 students
- Commitment to in-person, on-site service (no virtual assignments; SLPAs please do not apply)
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and monitoring progress
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff across one or more campuses
- Attending all required meetings and district professional development days
- Ensuring compliance with district and state documentation
