As a
Professional Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and offer negotiation. You will collaborate with clients and hiring managers to ensure successful placements, represent HTI at hiring events, and support various HR consulting projects. With your ability to engage with candidates, drive recruitment strategies, and navigate a fast-paced environment, the Professional Recruiter will directly impact HTI’s success and client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure successful placements.
- Craft engaging job postings to attract qualified candidates across multiple platforms.
- Source candidates through resume databases, social media, networking, and proactive outreach.
- Conduct thorough screenings and interviews, both virtually and in-person.
- Manage pre-employment processes, including background checks and verification.
- Guide candidates through the offer process, including negotiations, start date coordination, and relocation assistance.
- Facilitate interviews between clients and candidates, ensuring both are well-prepared.
- Represent HTI and our clients at job fairs and networking events.
- Assist with sales activities, attend sales calls as subject matter expert, lead generation, and contract preparation and proposal development as needed.
- Support high-volume recruiting projects from the office or onsite at client locations as needed.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates regarding job offers, availability, and next steps.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by managing expectations and providing feedback throughout the hiring process.
- Provide timely updates to hiring managers on candidate pipelines and recruitment progress.
- Participate and/or provide information for client metrics and update meetings.
- Responsible for consistent systems utilization and documentation throughout recruiting process.
- Continuous learning of all laws and technologies associated with recruiting.
This role is primarily office-based, requiring regular interaction with candidates, hiring managers, and clients. Occasional travel to client sites may be required for meetings, plant tours, and on-site recruitment efforts. Attendance at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences may also be necessary – these events could be outside of office hours.
Travel within the assigned region is required to support branch operations and client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience with technical systems and an aptitude for mastering complex processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- BS/BA degree in a related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer service experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or HR-related roles strongly preferred.
