Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rakeman with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in asphalt paving. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Responsibilities:
- Rake, level, and smooth hot asphalt during paving operations
- Assist the paving crew with job setup and cleanup
- Follow instructions from the foreman and work as part of a team
- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform additional tasks as needed on the job site
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-4 years of Rakeman or paving crew experience
- Knowledge of asphalt handling and raking techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Safety-conscious and able to follow direction
Pay:
$28 – $36 per hour (depending on experience)
