The Warehouse Specialist oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures materials flow efficiently between departments, maintains accurate inventory, and supports a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage inventory counts and material locations across both manufacturing facilities
- Ensure accurate purchase order receipts for all incoming products
- Supervise warehouse shipping and receiving activities
- Oversee truck and midsize shipment processes and coordinate vendor pickups
- Pick products and generate packing lists for customer parts orders
- Stage completed parts between operations to support production flow
- Complete warehouse issue and pick transactions
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, work order closing, and cycle counts
- Prepare, document, load, and unload the plant transfer truck
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse always
Core Competencies
- Strong communication, organizational, time-management, and basic math skills
- Dependable and reliable work ethic
- Ability to life 50 lbs or more throughout the day
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and standard inventory practices
Qualifications & Education requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of inventory processes, equipment operation, data entry, and basic computer skills
- Forklift operator experience required
- Requires walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time
