About Us:
Brooklyn-based telecom company seeking a skilled technician to join our growing installation team. We specialize in low-voltage voice, video, and data systems for commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate low-voltage cabling for voice, video, and data systems
- Install and configure camera systems, access control devices (lock pads, keypads), and related hardware
- Program and troubleshoot cameras, recorders, and networked devices
- Test systems to ensure proper operation and document installation details
- Travel to customer sites across the five boroughs and nearby areas as required
- Maintain professional customer interactions and provide basic user training
Qualifications:
- Prior experience installing low-voltage systems (voice, video, data, cameras, access control) preferred
- Hands-on experience programming and configuring camera systems and recorders
- Familiarity with cable termination, testing tools, and basic networking concepts
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel across NYC
