A warm family in Andover, NJ is seeking an experienced, patient, and engaging nanny for their 2.5-year-old daughter and 6-month-old son. Start date is September 1, flexible for the right fit.
Schedule
- Four days per week (M-Th preferred)
- 8-hour days (8AM-4PM/9AM-5PM)
- Approximately 32 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for both children
- Plan age-appropriate activities, reading, music, crafts, imaginative play, and outdoor play
- Balance structured activities with independent/free play
- Prepare toddler snacks and lunch
- Support potty-training routines
- Assist with bottles and bring baby to Mom for nursing as needed
- Maintain child-related areas and complete light child-related tasks
- Provide regular updates and communicate openly with parents
No general housekeeping, pet care, or driving of the children is required.
Household Details
Both parents work from home and may check in periodically throughout the day. The family also has one friendly senior dog, approximately 50 lbs., who can be energetic when initially greeting visitors.

Requirements
- 5+ years of infant/toddler experience
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Fluent English
- Non-smoker
- Authorized to work in the US
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal record
- Dog-friendly
- Strong communication and hygiene practices
- Education in childhood development, education, health, or a related field preferred
