Position Summary
We are seeking an Entry-Level Data Construction Project Manager to support the management, organization, and tracking of construction project data and administrative processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and interested in building a career in construction project management. The position will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Accounting, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project information is accurate, current, and properly documented.
The successful candidate will help manage construction data, project documentation, cost information, schedules, invoices, and reporting, while learning the day-to-day responsibilities of construction project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update construction project data and records.
- Enter project information accurately into construction management and accounting systems.
- Track project budgets, costs, invoices, purchase orders, and commitments.
- Assist Project Managers with project administration and reporting.
- Organize and maintain contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, invoices, and other project documentation.
- Assist with tracking project schedules, milestones, and deadlines.
- Review project data for accuracy and identify missing or inconsistent information.
- Assist with job-cost tracking and project financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Accounting regarding invoices, coding, costs, and project-related financial information.
- Assist with basic journal entries and accounting-related data entry as needed.
- Help track subcontractor and vendor information and documentation.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and project status updates.
- Assist with change order tracking and documentation.
- Follow up with project team members to obtain missing information.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain action-item tracking.
- Support project closeout and ensure required documentation is complete.
- Learn and utilize construction management, accounting, scheduling, and data-management software.
- Perform other project management and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Entry-level position; 0–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Interest in construction, project management, data management, or operations.
- Construction Management, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related education is a plus.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work with large amounts of information and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Willingness to learn construction processes and project management systems.
Ideal Candidate

Construction experience is helpful but not required. Strong administrative, data, Excel, accounting, or project coordination experience can be valuable for this position.
