American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ECMO experience for a rotating days/nights pediatric-focused role at a large-volume academic children's hospital.

Work in a high-volume pediatric and adult ECMO program at an academic children's hospital
-
Primary focus on pediatric ECMO patients who are stable on ECMO
-
Patient population includes congenital heart disease, congenital diaphragmatic hernias, and respiratory failure
-
Pediatric patient ratio is 1:1, occasionally 1:2; adult ratio is 1:3 with remote monitoring and rounding care model

Rotating day and night shifts (3x12-hour shifts); days run 7:00–19:00, nights run 19:00–7:00

2 weekends required per 4-week departmental scheduling period

No call or floating required

Epic EMR — experience required

Current RRT certification and BLS required

Minimum 1 year of experience required

ECMO experience required

Prior experience at an urban or academic medical center required

Epic EMR experience required

2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration — charge RNs are not acceptable references

Flu shot required; no exemptions accepted

License required if applicable

First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have prior ECMO specialist experience at an urban or academic medical center
