CDL Driver/Operator
As a CDL driver/equipment operator for Haynes Excavation, you will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, aggregate, water, and other materials using various types of commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, to transport equipment, aggregate, water, and other materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) on-site as needed to support excavation and utility projects.
- Step outside the cab to perform physical labor, including shoveling, pipe, laying, and assisting ground crews to keep the job moving.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, loading, and unloading.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong work ethic with a professional focus on quality, efficiency and safety.
- Must have a valid Class 'A' or Class 'B' Commercial Driver's License. Class 'A' is preferred.
- Must have a Tanker Endorsement or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be reliable/punctual, work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude.
Haynes Excavation offers year round work, with no layoffs in the slow/winter months. Pay is based on experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
- professional CDL driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Tanker Endorsement (Preferred)
