Compensation: $20.82 - $21.95 DOE + applicable shift differential pay

Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting daily production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials, components, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods are moved, staged, and supplied accurately and on time. This role supports uninterrupted manufacturing flow by delivering materials to production and secondary assembly areas, preparing products for internal movement or shipment, loading and unloading trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Material Handler must operate forklifts, pallet jacks, powered industrial trucks, and other material handling equipment safely while following established work instructions, quality standards, 5S practices, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Supply raw materials, components, packaging, and work-in-process materials to manufacturing and secondary assembly areas to support uninterrupted production flow.

Prepare WIP and finished goods for internal movement or shipment in accordance with work instructions, including stretch wrapping, strapping, labeling, and staging.

Move WIP, finished goods, scrap, and non-conforming materials from production areas to the warehouse, staging locations, scrap areas, or designated storage locations.

Operate powered industrial trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely while completing required pre-use inspections and safety documentation.

Load and unload trailers, verify materials against shipping or receiving documentation, and ensure products are handled and staged accurately.

Support inventory accuracy by verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, performing cycle counts, and communicating inventory issues to the appropriate team members.

Complete required production, inventory, warehouse, and quality records accurately and in accordance with established procedures.

Work overtime as needed to support production schedules, shipping deadlines, and business needs.

High school diploma and 2 years of material handler experience typically required.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This position requires regular standing and walking throughout the workday and involves repetitious duties in a manufacturing environment. Employees frequently use their hands and arms to perform job duties and may occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, speak, and hear. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that is not temperature controlled. Employees may be exposed to varying indoor temperatures and seasonal conditions typical of an industrial production setting. The work environment may also involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and elevated noise levels. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory and hearing protection, may be required based on job assignments and work area conditions.
