Job Summary
We are seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager who oversees all processes for mechanical systems, ensuring accurate coordination, efficient workflows, and compliance with project standards. This role leads the BIM team, manages model integrity, and drives innovation in digital construction practices to support design, fabrication, and installation.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects.
- Manage and mentor BIM detailers and coordinators, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of 3D models for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other trades to resolve design conflicts.
- Lead clash detection and coordination meetings using Navisworks or similar tools.
- Ensure models are fabrication-ready and support prefabrication processes.
- Maintain project BIM execution plans and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure constructability.
- Evaluate and integrate new BIM technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support for BIM software and workflows.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years in BIM for mechanical systems, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Software Skills: Expert in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD; familiar with BIM 360 or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with prefabrication and modular construction workflows.
- Knowledge of industry standards (SMACNA, ASHRAE) and local codes.
- Familiarity with data analytics and model-based estimating.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
