This position requires a machine operator with experience working with Mechanical Lathe and End Mills to manufacture custom parts for assembly of Food Equipment.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize work assignments and follow organizational policies. This position is perfect for someone who is seeking long-term employment in a growing company.
Responsibilities:
- Must be available to work a regular M-F work schedule, including Overtime or Saturday half day occasionally. Be a quick learner, especially how to make minor adjustments to the machine or equipment. Be able to work under pressure. Work quickly and safely while maintaining quality standards. Have knowledge of the physical characteristics of Stainless Steel, Steel and Aluminum metals such as hardness and strength. Have knowledge of the basic linear measurements and use of standard tape measure and drill charts.
