The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to support the company's growth objectives. This role partners closely with market leaders and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This position requires travel, including occasional overnight stays.
- Partner with market leaders and hiring managers to assess staffing needs and workforce planning requirements.
- Source active and passive candidates through various recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and industry partnerships.
- Post open positions internally and externally using effective and cost-efficient recruiting resources.
- Review resumes and applications, conduct candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Facilitate and manage the offer process, ensuring consistency with company policies and a positive candidate experience.
- Support onboarding activities to improve new hire engagement and retention.
- Promote and expand employee referral and alumni referral programs.
- Maintain awareness of labor market trends and competitive recruiting intelligence while adhering to company recruiting guidelines.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding programs as needed.
- Participate in recruiting initiatives, hiring events, and special projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Previous recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Successful completion of a background check required.
