Job Description Summary
The Operations Support Technician will be responsible for managing FreshService call tickets, receiving and deploying purchase orders (PO. This role includes maintaining the IT area in the warehouse, assisting with the scrapping of technology equipment, and ensuring IT stock is well-maintained. The technician will also support IT staff with inventory requests and maintain a clean work area at VB185. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this position.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
One (1) year related experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Great written and verbal communications skills.
Experience in maintaining clean and orderly work spaces.
Knowledgeable with computer hardware and software utilities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in IT support tools, especially FreshService or similar ticketing systems.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Experience with managing purchase orders and inventory processes.
