Your energy will help foster a vibrant atmosphere, making each visitor’s adventure memorable while maintaining strict safety protocols. A mechanical and/or maintenance background is needed to assist in keeping things running smoothly. Whether maintaining equipment, guiding guests through the ride process, or handling guest inquiries, your proactive approach will keep the excitement alive and ensure everyone leaves with a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the adventure ride, ensuring all safety procedures are followed meticulously before, during, and after each ride.
- Pay attention to the condition of each cart, the track and surroundings, taking action to correct possible issues before they become a problem.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking, providing clear instructions and support to ensure comfort and safety.
- Conduct safety checks on rides and equipment regularly to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs. Carry out maintenance needs as required.
- Knowledge of ticketing procedures, POS systems, and cash handling.
- Reliability with attendance & ability to assist with opening & closing responsibilities.
- Manage guest interactions with enthusiasm, addressing questions, providing information about attractions, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ride areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Skills
- Proven experience in events management or working at an event venue is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle guest concerns calmly and effectively.
- Previous experience working with children, providing engaging and safe interactions.
- Knowledge of safety protocol adherence, manual handling, heavy lifting, and outdoor work environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Experience working in a tourism setting is advantageous.
- Understanding of the need to continually monitor maintenance of equipment.
- Mechanical skills with an understanding of the basic operation of machines.
