IronLeaf Designs is a growing manufacturing and fabrication company located in Pineville, NC. We specialize in custom CNC machining, metal fabrication, woodworking, laser processing, and made-to-order products for commercial, industrial, and OEM clients.
We are seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for a skilled individual who enjoys working with precision equipment, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC routers, reading technical drawings, selecting tooling, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC router equipment to produce precision components and finished products
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, work orders, and technical specifications
- Load materials, fixtures, and tooling for production runs
- Select, install, and maintain cutting tools and machine accessories
- Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Perform machine adjustments and program modifications as needed
- Monitor production quality and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance
- Maintain material inventory and communicate supply needs
- Assist with assembly, finishing, and packaging of completed products when needed
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of CNC router setup and operation experience
- Experience machining wood, plastics, composites, or non-ferrous metals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and material properties
- Experience using calipers, tape measures, squares, and other precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Experience with CNC programming and toolpath generation
- Experience operating CNC lasers or other CNC fabrication equipment
- Forklift certification
- Experience in a custom manufacturing or job-shop environment
- Woodworking or cabinet-making experience
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
