Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and professional Catering Event Captain to support a variety of events, including weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and special occasions. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee catering event staff
- Delegate responsibilities within your team
- Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor
- Assist with food and beverage service, including buffet and plated service
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members and event supervisors
- Adapt quickly to changing needs during events
Qualifications:
- Previous hospitality, catering, or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
