We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment goals, techniques, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and case management records.
- Stay updated on best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- A degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
- Experience in outpatient, geriatrics, or inpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and effectively manage patient cases.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
