The Workshoppe by Kaage Homes is the physical expression of that idea. It's a studio and materials shop where homeowners can browse beautiful materials, shop custom millwork, book consultations with our designers, attend events, and get real help making the decisions a project depends on.
We're looking for someone to run it.
About the Role
The Manager of The Workshoppe is responsible for the experience of every person who walks through the door.
You'll welcome homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and real estate clients into the space, help them find what they came for, explain how our services work, and connect them with the right member of the team. You'll run the day-to-day operation while making sure every display is well merchandised, every consultation is prepared, and every visitor leaves better oriented than when they arrived.
The role blends hospitality, retail operations, client experience, merchandising, and sales into one job. It suits someone who likes wearing all of those hats in a single day.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest and set the tone for their visit.
- Help customers navigate our collection of cabinetry, stone, plumbing, lighting, paint, hardware, and furnishings.
- Schedule and coordinate designer consultations.
- Manage Shopify POS, retail transactions, and special orders.
- Receive inventory, organize samples, and maintain the showroom's presentation.
- Coordinate with designers to prepare for client appointments.
- Merchandise displays and seasonal vignettes.
- Support Workshoppe events, educational programming, and product launches.
- Handle phones, email, and customer inquiries with warmth and professionalism.
- Work closely with our design and real estate teams to keep the client experience seamless.
- Improve the systems, organization, and operations as you go.
