We are seeking an RN or LPN to care for our patients within our chronic pain management practice. You will be responsible for completing office visits, assisting with procedures, answering patient questions, assisting with medication refill requests, and patient education. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best care with little supervision. Must be compassionate and cool-tempered. You should be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient well-being by providing high-quality care. The schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm (28-32 hrs/wk). Fridays are an option and can be discussed during the interview process.
This position can be full-time (40 hrs/wk) for those interested and willing to help with other aspects of the company.
We also own Arcanum Medical Spa and many of our staff choose to work for both businesses. We are looking to expand our offered services in Colorado Springs, so growth in aesthetic services is an option for interested individuals.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to providers
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
- Perform routine procedures (measuring vitals, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (sterilizing equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Assist providers (CRNA's and NP's) during procedures
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients
Skills
- Proven experience as an RN/LPN
- Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines, procedures, and a willingness to follow them at all times
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, compassionate, patient
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid nursing license
- Spanish preferred but not required
