Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers. MUST SPEAK SPANISH!
Duties
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Assist customers in locating products in the store
- Perform product demonstrations when required
- Upsell products and promote special offers
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are appealing
Experience
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Previous experience in retail sales is a plus
- Bilingual is a must
