We are looking for a dedicated and talented Painter to contribute to our operations in Fargo, ND, 58102. In this position, you will be instrumental in improving the visual quality of custom metal projects by delivering superior finishes.
You will begin with two weeks of training on the first shift before transitioning to the second shift, which runs from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Thursday.
Core Duties-
Verify that trailer surface preparation meets all requirements before painting begins.

Carry out directives provided by the supervisor or assistant supervisor.

Apply primer and topcoats to trailers to ensure they meet our quality benchmarks.

Utilize a Mil Gauge to confirm that paint thickness is accurate.

Address and fix any paint imperfections found on the trailers.

Oversee the organization and upkeep of the paint vault.

Review both your own output and the work of trainees for quality assurance.

Utilize overhead cranes as the task requires.

Maintain familiarity with all tools and perform routine upkeep to ensure equipment longevity.

Track inventory levels and notify management when supplies need replenishment.

Manage, store, and discard hazardous substances in compliance with regulations while completing all mandatory annual training.

Adhere strictly to established workflows and operational procedures.

Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by following all company safety protocols.

Contribute to process improvements by identifying waste to boost overall efficiency.

Take on extra tasks as required during periods when you are not actively painting.
Candidate Qualifications
It is preferred that you have one to two years of experience operating electrostatic painting equipment. You should have strong verbal communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with teammates. A professional work ethic and a positive outlook are essential for success in this role.
